What Is Industrial Hemp? How Is This Legal?
The state of Tennessee Public Chapter No. 916, section 4, "Industrial hemp" means the plants and plant parts of the genera cannabis that do not contain a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) concentration more than three tenths of one percent (0.3%) on a dry mass basis, grown from seed certified by a certifying agency, as defined by § 43-10-1 03. Will Industrial Hemp/CBD Get You High?
The stress-relieving rush that comes with smoking high CBD flowers has been described as a "high". When smoked, vaped, or dabbed the high CBD flowers/products typically give you a "body high" without the head high commonly found in THC flowers. Industrial hemp has low delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive component of cannabis.
This low concentration will not cause psychoactive effects.
Does Hemp/CBD Show Up On A Drug Screening?
You naturally produce THC in your body through the Endocannabinoid System. Drug screenings test for the natural level that occurs in your body. When you consume a product that contains THC, those levels can be elevated above the natural level and can pull a false positive. Everyone metabolizes and stores THC differently than the next person. There are no guarantees that you will pass a drug screening if a product contains THC.
